We work with you from concept to completion to make the perfect animation, motion graphics or video presentation for your business. Here's a guide to the process, and how we like to work.

Stage 1 - Exploratory Phase

When you first contact us, we like to find out as much about your project as possible. We'll ask you questions to help us understand your vision...

  • What is the nature of your business?
  • Who are your customers?
  • How far into the video planning process are you?
  • What is the purpose of your video - to inform, to drive sales, to instruct etc?
  • Where will your video be viewed - internally, on your Website, on social media and YouTube?
  • Do you have examples of relevant videos that you like?
  • What services do you require - scriptwriting, vector graphic design, voice-over, music, animation, infographics, stock video etc?
  • What are the deadlines for the final product?
  • What is your budget?

In return, we'll give you an early estimate of the likely timescale and cost of the work required. We'll also provide support in any area you may need - especially if there are aspects of a video that you haven't yet considered.

If you're happy to proceed, we enter the second stage and begin to plan the specifics of your custom-designed video.

Stage 2 - Planning Phase

We begin to make firm plans for your video, piecing together the individual components that will provide the framework of the project. We'll work on...

  • The script.
  • The storyboard - with notes on narration, visual guidelines and audio effects.
  • The artwork style, colour palette and branding elements.
  • The background music.
  • Stock video elements and effects.
  • Video duration and timing.

We'll seek your feedback throughout the process - keeping in close contact as we coordinate the video's framework together.

Stage 3 - Production Phase

With the video framework in place, we begin to produce the final product using software from the Adobe creative suite - Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere and After Effects...

  • We create custom vector graphics in Adobe Illustrator for each scene in your video.
  • We edit stock and brand photography in Adobe Photoshop.
  • We edit and prepare stock video in Adobe Premiere.
  • We then animate the individual assets in Adobe After Effects, before adding video and sound effects.
  • We render your video in the required format and dimensions.
  • We check and approve the outputted video.
  • We share progress with you via our video viewing and commenting platform.
  • You leave suggestions and comments to guide us to the finish.

With the final video in place, we'll then pass it across to you for feedback and approval.

Stage 4 - Delivery Phase

We'll provide a download link to your video, and ask you to check everything is to your satisfaction. If you're happy to approve the first version you receive - then great! We'll check you have everything you need from us, and look forward to working with you again soon.
